SUPERIOR COURT - DIVISION OF MONTREAL
PRIORITIZED FILES AT THE CALLING OF THE PROVISIONAL ROLE
Please take note that in order to foster better access to justice, the Montreal Division of the Superior Court of Quebec now provides, save in exceptional circumstances, hearing dates within 12 months of the issuing of the Attestation that a File is Complete (AFC), (section 77 (b) of the Rules of Practice), in all family cases as well as in all cases where the plaintiff is a physical person, in particular for wrongful dismissal, invalidity insurance, libel and slander, civil and professional liability, latent defects and in matters of succession.
